Protecting the customer's interests
The dispute arose from a supply of 5 km of industrial CAT6A network cable from China, purchased for CNY 115,000. ХАЛЛ ГРУПП compiled technical evidence, obtained an award upholding its claims at МКАС and reimbursed the customer for the full cost of the goods.

Actions
ХАЛЛ ГРУПП submitted a claim to the supplier and initiated arbitration at МКАС. The tribunal found a fundamental breach, confirmed compliance with the inspection and notice requirements, and upheld the claims in full.
Technical basis of the dispute
What the cable tests established
The nonconformity was hidden and required instrumental testing. The award examined the test methodology, the connection between the tested cable and the disputed supply, and the suitability of the goods for industrial use.
Required link performance
Testing used the technical data for the agreed product: 100 m for 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-TX modes, and 90 m for 10GBASE-T. The measuring equipment was checked using a working factory patch cord.
Observed performance
No connection was established with samples measuring 100, 90, 80 or 70 m. At 60 m, a link was established only at 100 Mbps; 1,000 Mbps was achieved on 50 m and 40 m lengths.
Additional corroboration
Tests commissioned by ХАЛЛ ГРУПП on 20 and 27 November 2025 corroborated the initial findings. The tribunal found that the cable could not transmit data over the specified link length.
Linking the evidence to the supply
The tribunal compared the product description and part number in the test report, invoice and claim, together with the import and inspection chronology. This established that the findings concerned cable from the disputed supply.
Claims and arbitration outcome
МКАС upheld the claims of ХАЛЛ ГРУПП in full. The award separately identifies repayment of the goods’ cost and reimbursement of testing, legal services and arbitration-related fees.
