Selection and applicability

Archived 09/2010 edition available from the official SKF CDN and checked 6 Nov 2026; it does not guarantee unchanged design or current production of every option. The MFE series also appears in official SKF 17046EN Product catalogue 2025, but values from different publications are not merged here. Agree the full power code separately; suffix combinations are not generated. Level-switch ratings do not establish whole-unit protection or temperature. No exact IMPA code is confirmed. This is the MFE5 unit for reservoir flange mounting, not ME5 with a separate reservoir. The table warns that variant geometry can differ, so the generic MFE5 figure is not assigned as an exact drawing to all 12 configurations. Shown-motor ratings on page 7 are not automatically assigned to every version. For single-phase supply the source permits only 60% of the tabulated back pressure and requires the appropriate limiting valve; 28 bar must not automatically be applied to a single-phase configuration.
