Information requiring protection
Non-public information about transaction participants, prices, technical requirements, specifications, proposals, payment and supply terms is used for the agreed business purpose. It is not published in case studies, catalogues or website materials without agreement.
Before sensitive documents are shared, the parties may agree an NDA covering the information, permitted purposes, recipients, transfer arrangements, duration of obligations and liability.
For the customer
At an early stage, discussions can start with technical characteristics and required quantities without unnecessary commercial details. If an overseas supplier needs to know the customer for selection, quotation or a mandatory check, the scope of that disclosure is agreed with the customer in advance.
Agreed access restrictions are taken into account when handling documents. If a restriction prevents a necessary check or quotation, the issue is discussed before the relevant stage continues.
For the supplier
A supplier's proposal, business terms and technical materials are used within the supply under discussion. Information that needs to be shared with the customer or another participant is determined according to the agreed terms and purpose of cooperation.
Information about a supplier, its prices and project-specific terms is not published on the website without agreement. Any restrictions on sharing or using materials should be identified before they are provided.
Documents and mandatory disclosure
Information required by banks for payments and checks, by customs for clearance, and by other authorised authorities where prescribed by law is provided separately from public disclosure. Contractual confidentiality terms do not exclude these obligations.
Where documents include personal data, their processing and sharing are also assessed under personal data protection rules. An NDA does not replace the necessary lawful basis or cross-border transfer requirements.
International restrictions and risks
Supply feasibility is assessed by product, intended use, transaction participants, route and payment arrangements, taking account of Russian law and the applicable mandatory requirements of supply participants.
Accurate information is provided to the extent necessary for banking, customs and other mandatory checks. Before commitments are made, we agree supply terms taking account of the restrictions and risks identified.
Agree the working arrangements
If your enquiry contains commercially sensitive information, contact client@hallgroup.ru and identify the necessary restrictions before sending a complete set of documents. ХАЛЛ ГРУПП will agree suitable exchange arrangements and whether an NDA is needed for the specific interaction.
